Oaxaca: Quick Restaurant Reviews

El Naranjo - An air-conditioned patio, and the seven moles will bring you to this spot.

Catedral - Beautiful old-style patio and house. Beautiful food and ambiance. Nice and only a couple of blocks from the zocalo.

El Asador Vasco - Overloooking the zocalo, this restaurant merges Spanish and Oaxacan cuisines. Seta by the balcony and enjoy the tuna's music! This is where I had my first batch of Oaxacan's "chapulines" or crickets.

La casa de la abuela - Overlooking the zocalo and the cathedral, this is a nice home-style restaurant. Try it!
