Guadalajara is Mexico's second largest city and worlds apart from the Capital Mexico City. Make sure to take a walking tour of the city's central area around the cathedral. Here you'll find shopping, restaurants and thousands of people walking both day and night. If you are lucky, you'll encounter a Mexican concert such as Los Panchos singing memorias of tunes of the 40s to cheering crowds of thousands.
